25 Days of Mascara: Day 7

Welcome to 25 Days of Mascara!  This series, if you haven't guessed already, will feature one mascara per day until Christmas.  I love trying out new mascara, so what better way to spend the most wonderful time of the year (and my birthday month) reviewing the one product I can't do without?

Day 7: Ulta Waterproof Amped Lashes

If you're looking for an ultra waterproof mascara that adds volume, this is the one for you!  Ulta's Amped Lashes in Waterproof (retail: $10) will give you plenty of volume and stay put all day.  This has very mixed reviews on Ulta's website, but for me it's a great mascara if you need your lashes to last all day (and then some)!  I will say that it can be pretty difficult to remove, so I would use this only when waterproof is needed.

I loved this mascara so much that I decided to try the non-waterproof version.  Unfortunately, the regular Amped Lashes didn't come close to the greatness of it's waterproof mate, so I would definitely stick to the waterproof!

Likes:

 - truly waterproof

 - adds volume

 - easy to apply

 - doesn't clump, flake, or smudge

Dislike:

 - can be difficult to remove (even with oil based removers)
