25 Days of Mascara: Day 2

Welcome to 25 Days of Mascara!  This series, if you haven't guessed already, will feature one particular mascara per day until Christmas.  I love trying out new mascara, so what better way to spend the most wonderful time of the year (and my birthday month) reviewing the one product I can't do without?

Day 2: Rimmel Glam'Eyes

I have tried SO HARD to like Rimmel mascara, but no matter how many different products they come out with, I am always thoroughly disappointed.  Glam'Eyes (retail: $7.49) is no exception.  While it does have staying power, and a skinny wand (again I say, hooray for skinny wands!) it just isn't working for me.

I have long, thin lashes and this mascara makes them look even more gangly.  Instead of separating and adding volume, it just clumps my little lashes together.  Not cool, Rimmel.  Not cool.  I think if the wand had bristles that were thinner and closer together, this mascara would be pretty awesome.  Until then, I'll be keeping my distance.

 - long lasting

 - skinny wand

Dislikes:

 - doesn't add volume

 - clumps lashes together instead of separating
