25 Days of Mascara: Day 3

Welcome to 25 Days of Mascara!  This series, if you haven't guessed already, will feature one particular mascara per day until Christmas.  I love trying out new mascara, so what better way to spend the most wonderful time of the year (and my birthday month) reviewing the one product I can't do without?

Day 3: Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin

Along with Neutrogena and Almay, Physicians Formula is one of those drugstore brands that is often overlooked.  Based off my experience with the brand, it's probably due to their products being either hit or miss.  Their hits being bronzers, blushes, and concealers and one of their misses being the Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin mascara (retail: $10).

The main problem I find with this product is the formula.  It's pretty waxy and with my oily skin, a good amount of smudging occurs along my lower lashes throughout the day.  As you can see, it does a decent job of adding natural-looking volume (I only used one coat), it just doesn't have the longevity that I need (darn you, oily face)!
