Day 22: Wet n Wild MegaVolume Mascara
I know, I know, I'm slacking. My laptop has suddenly decided that it doesn't like WiFi, so I'm stuck plugging in to the router the "old fashioned" way (I can't believe using network cables is now considered old fashioned). Anyway, today, er, yesterday, we're looking at Wet n Wild's MegaVolume mascara (retail $2.99).
I really had high hopes for this product since most products that Wet n Wild come out with are awesome. However, mascara must not be their strong suit as this one fell flat.
When a product has the word "volume" in the name or typed in bold letters on the packaging, one would assume it's intention is to add crazy, mega volume. After looking at the description on Walgreens' site, it claims to only provide "fuller lashes for natural-looking volume." I don't know about you, but when I think of mega volume, the word natural does not come to mind.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this does what the description claims to do, not what the actual product name claims to do. If you want natural volume and definition from a mascara, this is your guy. If you want mega volume, this won't do it.
Make no mistake, this is a great mascara, but it's only great if you're going for a natural look. It doesn't flake, smudge, or clump, and in true Wet n Wild style, it comes at a great price.

What we can all learn here is to really read the product info before buying it. If I had, I definitely wouldn't have purchased this!
