25 Days of Mascara: Day 1

Welcome to 25 Days of Mascara!  This new series, if you haven't guessed already, will feature one particular mascara per day until Christmas.  I love trying out new mascara, so what better way to spend the most wonderful time of the year (and my birthday month) reviewing the one product I can't do without?

Day 1: Lash Stiletto Voluptuous by Maybelline

I'm kicking things off with one of my favorites: Lash Stiletto Voluptuous by Maybelline.  Now, I've never tried the original Lash Stiletto, but this little beaut is amazing!  It lengthens and adds volume, which is just what my long, scrappy lashes need.  It doesn't clump or smudge, yet removes very easily with a typical makeup removing wipe.  Make no mistake, this won't give you Twiggy lashes, but it is great just for everyday wear.

Unfortunately, it looks like this particular mascara has been discontinued, but thank goodness for Amazon where you can still purchase it for a little over $4.00.

Likes:
 - formula isn't too wet or too dry
 - adds the perfect amount of volume for everyday wear
 - curved and tapered wand is ideal for coating every lash (it's also a nice size - hooray for skinny wands!)
 - price is affordable (though not available everywhere)

Dislike:
 - product has been discontinued and not readily available
