All In

Welcome to the first day of the A to Z Challenge!  If you're not familiar with the challenge, myself and a couple thousand other bloggers will be blogging thematically from A to Z.  Each day will be centered around a certain letter, and every blogger will be posting everyday except Sundays.  Sound fun?  I thought so!  If you'd like to read more about the challenge or check out the other participating blogs, check it out here!

I've never been one to fall for kitschy or novelty items, but when I first saw these nail wraps from BH Cosmetics, it's all I can think about.  I mean, who doesn't want to deck out their nails with spades and clubs?  I know, I can think of a lot of people who wouldn't, but that's not the point.  Actually, I'm not really sure what the point is; all I know is that I can't get enough.

Not wanting to leave the other 99% of my body out, I've done a thorough search for the best playing-card-inspired pieces out there.  From diamonds to hearts, check out my favorite poker night worthy items:

All In

Have you ever been into any kitschy fads or worn any trends you later regretted?  Tattoo chokers, super baggy jeans?  Grunge?  I'd love to know - comment below!

  1. Kitschy stuff makes me day!! Hello Kitty to too far, but i certainly have a tee that says 'Twerk Team' across the front. Tacky and Fabulous.
Good Luck with the AtoZ challenge! Can't wait to read more from you - there are not enough fashion bloggers signed up!

Would love you to visit me too if you get a chance www.thehlz.com :)

    1. Thanks for your comment! I agree -- usually beauty and fashion bloggers would be all over this sort of thing, so I'm not sure why there aren't that many!

Thanks for the follow! I'll be sure to follow you along, too!

  2. I did the bindi thing in the 90s. There was no way I could pull that off.

    1. Luckily, I never really got into any crazy trends when I was younger. I did wear A LOT of hooded sweatshirts in high school, but I guess that's not too bad!

I love to see that you write about fragrances! You don't see a lot of fragrance reviews on blogs, but as a fellow perfume lover, I enjoy it!

Thanks for the comment and good luck with the challenge!
