Ipsy Glam Bag: November 2013

Yay!  It's here!  Let's jump right in shall we?!

1. Nailtini Lacquer in Caviar Cocktail: I've never tried this brand before, so I'm anxious to see how good or bad the formula is.  The unfortunate thing is, I'm definitely not digging the color.  Just something I would probably only use as an accent.

2. BH Cosmetics Baked Eyeshadow in Eclipse: Thanks to Ipsy, I have become a huge fan of BH.  The pigmentation on their eyeshadow is like no other and this one's no exception.  What a gorgeous purple-y, silvery, shimmery color!

3. em Creamy Color Sheer Lipstick in One True Kiss: This full-size (I think) lipstick is from YouTube Star Michelle Phan's new makeup line, em Cosmetics.  Although this is super creamy and easy to apply, I'm just not feeling it.  It made the lines and dry parts of my lips stand out, and didn't last very long.  I do love the color, it just didn't work for me!

4. Starlooks Gem Pencil in Amethyst: I haven't had much luck with other Starlooks products I've received from Ipsy, and although this a super fun, glittery color (and almost identical to Eclipse), it's a hot mess.  Nothin but smudges and glitter in your eye with this guy.

5. Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched: I didn't swatch this bronzer because, well, there's nothing to show.  I could see this being a great bronzer for lighter skin tones, but for me, it's pretty much a highlighter.  It's beautiful, it's just not a bronzer!

6. Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Hot Damn: Although it looks red in the tube, coral on my hand, and orange on my lips, this color (whatever it may be) looks great on me!  It is quite dry, so a lip balm is a must, and it definitely won't last long, but at least it's a gorgeous color!
