1. Freeman Paper Masks (shown in Rose, Blue Agave, and Star Fruit): I've only tried the Rose mask so far and it was pretty much useless. It was messy too, but I'm still willing to give the others a shot. Also, if you're going to use a paper mask, do yourself a favor and do it when no one can possibly see your face. And make sure there are no mirrors around, because one look at yourself and you'll wish you hadn't.
2. Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple: I really can't stand the packaging of this lip balm. It's bulky and I really don't care to have a brush attached, I mean, lip balms should be in tube form, right? Why does it have to be so difficult to apply? It's a decent product but is very pigmented and I found it to be drying on my lips. Not a fan.
3. Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Volumizing Mascara: I love trying mascaras, but this is another mascara sample from Ipsy that I will not be purchasing or even using again. Definitely doesn't live up to it's name.
4. em Cosmetics The Life Palette swatch: I've perused the other products offered by em, and I'm not impressed. A lot of the colors in the full-size palette look extremely similar and it's definitely not worth the $75 (to me, at least). You'll notice that I didn't call this a sample, because you really can't get much use out of the little swatches provided. It says the "sample" is for "evaluation of texture and aesthetic properties only." Whatever.
5. NYX Eyeshadow in Deep Charcoal: I LOVE NYX, and this shadow is no exception. The pigmentation isn't as prominent as I expected, but I think I like it that way. This is the star product in an otherwise pitiful glam bag.
6. Starlooks Kohl Eye Pencil in Obsidian: I really liked the Starlooks lip liner I received in a previous bag, but this just didn't do it for me. I tested it out on my hand, and it seemed to fade fairly easily. With my oily eyelids, I need to have a liner that sticks!
Ipsy's Glam Bag subscription service is a great way to try out different products without breaking the bank. You'll get 4-5 good-sized (sometimes full-sized) products for only $10 a month! If you're interested in becoming an Ipsy Glam Bag subscriber, click here!

That's it, folks! I feel like I was pretty negative about this month's bag, but I can tell you now that I won't be unsubscribing anytime soon. Ipsy still has the best bargain and samples around as far as subscription boxes go and although I may not like every product they give me, there's really no way for Ipsy to get it 100% right.
