Not a Fan Friday: Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara

I know what you're thinking, "Revlon makes mascara?!"  The answer (obviously) is yes, they do.  However, mascara is definitely not the shining star of the Revlon brand and certainly cannot compare to our beloved Revlon Lip Butters.  In fact, the one and only mascara I've tried from Revlon is horrific - it's the Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara in waterproof.

The applicator is decent, but the formula is the worst I've ever tried, and I've tried A LOT of mascaras.  The main reason I am not a fan is that the mascara seems to clump.  It's not the usual Goliath-size clumps that some mascaras leave; it just leaves tiny specks that make you look like you dropped your mascara wand into a pile of sand before applying it to your lashes.  I don't know about you, but I prefer my mascara to be sand-free (or at least look like it's sans sand).  The only thing this mascara has going for it is that it is indeed waterproof.

For those who have been wanting to try this mascara out, don't even bother.  Unless, of course, you like your mascara a little crunchy.
